Symptoms and treatment: During the usual rounds of SPANA mobile clinic to the villages of Hama, an old woman was waiting to ask the help for her donkey, which the family depended upon her in the work. By the examination, it was noticed that the donkey was suffering fever and pain. It was noticed also, a little swelling in the joint. So, the animal became disable to walk or stand normally. After the examination, the dirty and stones were removed from the hoof, then it was cleaned with the warm water. The donkey was given dose of botasin which was repeated with gradual decrease of the dose until the complete recovery after one week. The owner thanked SPANA for the treatment. She was happy because her donkey returned back to her daily work. |
